This page will contain a list of session recaps, separated by chapter, which briefly recount the events of each game session.

Note that the information in the earlier recaps was very minimalistic and more of a GM's notes rather than a detailed recounting of the session's events. It is only in chapter 3 that the recaps began to become more detailed.

Epilogue

After having finally purged the world of Andozar's taint, the party has one last unfinished task at hand -- dealing with Adamar, who stole Lod'exenter from Kethiken Sholar while the party distracted Andozar. Though the situation is not an emergency, as Lod'exenter will take centuries to gather its power again; if they do not locate him fast, they may lose the chance to entirely.

Chapter 7 - The Ferroplague

Following the Wellspring eruption which awakened the Forgeborn, the Archmage of the Sorcerer's Cabal is murdered and a strange new plague breaks out that seems to only affect the Letheni. How is this plague connected to the Forgeborn?

Chapter 6 - Reshyk

This chapter involves Dain returning to his homeland of Reshyk to investigate the disturbing emergence of Forgeborn, knockoffs of his original Steel Defender design, being sold all over Aellorah. He also goes to confront his cousin Gloin for stealing his designs in the past, destroying his reputation among his people.

Chapter 5 - Seryndor

This chapter involved the players venturing to the lost city of Seryndor, which sank beneath the waves of the Gulf of Liborius in the late Reckoning period, over 1,300 years ago. Summer was contacted by a vision of a Letheni woman in a cave in the city, claiming to be trapped there since it sank, and claiming to be her grandmother.

Chapter 4 - The Longer Night

This chapter involved an attack on Eldham by undead following Lys' judgment of the Letheni who had taken part in the Cult of Lys' activities, and the resultant pursuit of the necromancer Aubron, who after killing the cult leader Haldir, attempted to recover several powerful artifacts and used his undead forces to try to begin an uprising that threatened to destroy all of Arak, and eventually, all of Aellorah.

Chapter 3 - Cult of Lys

After a Wellspring eruption miraculously gave Letheni and Humans the ability to sire children together, a group known as the Cult of Lys appeared and began an inquisition determined to hunt down the half-breed children, claiming that they were abominations. After an attack on Fort Elden by a vicious shadow creature, the group had to find a way to oust the charismatic leader of the cult amidst widespread support for the group in Eldham.

Chapter 2 - Less Than Human

After their encounter with the powerful and elusive Adamar, a string of political assassinations throughout the city of figures that supported Human rights led to the discovery that Eldham's magistrate, seemingly in support of eliminating the Humans in the city, was planning to frame the Humans for a series of crimes hoping to drum up support from the outraged Letheni community to attempt to wipe out the Human community without resistance. However, investigating the matter turned up evidence that a powerful Vesperkin named Rhys, who appeared to be an associate of Adamar's, was pulling the strings...

Chapter 1 - Goblins!

The journey began with a group of adventurers waking up bound and gagged in a cave after having been waylaid on the road by Goblins and captured. After managing to escape and a chance encounter with members of the prolific Emerald Company, the players began to investigate a string of mutated Goblin variants that had been appearing and wreaking havoc. Investigating the source of the variants led to mentions of a powerful wizard who appeared to be responsible for the mutations -- a Letheni illusionist by the name of Adamar.

(Unfortunately, some sessions were lost due to me not diligently taking notes during and after sessions, so there were a few that are just lost to time.)
