Session 28

Players charged into the room, with Anlon trigger a glyph of warding casting Silence, preventing spellcasting. The summoner conjured a Spectator, and battle ensued. The players took a lot of damage from the regular cultists hiding in the illusory wall, and Tamas and Summer went down, but ultimately they were victorious.

Drixir appeared after the battle to mock the cultists for being too weak to properly harness the power he granted them, and devoured their souls, before attempting to attack the players. At that moment, Astix appeared and banished Drixir before turning to talk to the players. The players asked and were told that Drixir is a Voidspawn, a powerful creature that the goddesses usually protect the mortals of Aellorah from, but sometimes they slip through their defenses. Astix then told Dain that she found his actions at Rhys' home despicable (telling Sabine to attack the charmed women), and that if he ever does something so despicable again, she will intervene. She then left as she arrived, in a column of radiant fire.
