Session 16

Party quickly dealt with the bridge trap by tying rope to themselves and using the Steel Defender as an anchor and then testing by walking across the bridge. They guessed correctly on the first try.

Party listened to several of the door's nonsense riddles (and Matt/Anlon even "guessed" one by Googling it) before Anlon simply tried opening the door and went through.

Anlon attempted to talk to Adamar, but Adamar was uninterested and had the Bugbears attack.

Mai knocked out Ronan after Tamas noticed that the "Bugbear's" grunt sounded unlike a Bugbear and told the party to use non-lethal damage.

Talindra, not listening to Tamas telling everyone to use non-lethal damage, dealt a fatal blow to Merith. Galan charged Adamar and was disintegrated.

Party managed to find a diamond on Merith, due to her lavish lifestyle, and used it to cast Revivify to bring her back.

Party finds a room containing a strange mirror that does not show the objects on the three plinths in front of them. It takes them a bit to figure out they can carry them through one at a time to place on the plinths on the other side, but they get impatient and decide to try to smash the mirror, which traps Dain on the other side.

Dain got trapped temporarily in Adamar's study and looted the place and found Adamar's journals and research, as well as the Goblin mutagen and Amulet of Disguise. Then he found the hidden storage room and found the potions, gold, Ring of Resistance to Poison and Chain Mail of Acid Resistance. In total, 14000 GP, 3400 SP, and 4700 CP awarded. Had him find a "key" to reconstruct and open the mirror that was shattered.

Party gave Merith the journals and took their much-needed rest. Advanced to level 6.
