Session 36

Tamas puts up a "billboard" warning travelers of the anti-Human situation in Eldham.

Merith briefs Dain on the politicians affiliated with the Paragons in Eldham and gives him some information on their dealings and suspected involvement.

Icarus pays his criminal contacts for information on the location of the Tomb of Inridil and manages to narrow down the location even more to within 1 mile of the cave.

Icarus pays a jeweler to attach the gem from the tomb of Amra Olabella to his bow using a brass casing just above the grip.

Dain gives Giselle the Greater Healing Potion Recipe and she gives him a few potions of healing as a thank you.

Dain forges two Shadesteel Longswords using the ingots obtained from the merchants they rescued last session.

Tamas and Icarus create Mac & Cheese and "Alcohol Cake".

The party buys some horses that they name Gypsy, Cookie, and Brick

Dain installs a mystery item inside the Steel Defender's chest.

On their way to locate the Tomb of Inridil, Icarus witnesses a giant who appears drunk tumbling down a hill and crashing into the road in front of them. It gets up and threatens the party, to which Icarus replies by trying to offer it some alcohol cake. It gets angry and attacks and they manage to dispatch it without much issue. Dain manages to harvest 5 Hill Giant Toenails, which can each be used to brew a Potion of Hill Giant Strength. Icarus manages to harvest some Hill Giant teeth (x3). They also find a total of 855 GP. Tamas shoots it in the nuts and carves "JUSTICE" into its stomach.

The party manages to locate the cave and after taking a rest overnight, they notice that the cave is partially collapsed with rubble piled high and a wide hole about 20 ft. up. Icarus flies up to take a look at sees a large pool of water with a clearing on the other end. He turns around to tell the others and hears a war cry from behind him and is shot in the back. Combat begins and the players have difficulty as they attempt to reach the Goblins on the other side of the body of water, eventually deciding to jump into the water and swim across. Dain is nearly pulled under the water, but manages to recover. Through a stroke of luck, Sabine's Wellspring magic surges and gives her Truesight, allowing her to spot the entrance to the Tomb of Inridil.

Tamas departs the group, choosing to stay and defend Fort Elden from now on.
