Session 35

Party speaks with Neldena and is told some basic information about the Voidspawn. Astix tells the players to seek the Tomb of Inridil for a weapon they can use to fight the Voidspawn should they encounter them in the future. Neldena stays the night and returns to the Sentinels to brief them and is ordered by Astix to keep in communication with the party about this ongoing threat.

As the party heads inside the fort to rest, they overhear a commotion in the kitchen and find Icarus making a snack and having a full blown conversation with his mouse, Cheese. The party invites Icarus to make camp outside and rests for the night.

Talindra arrives in the morning with a group of Humans and Half-Elven children whom she rescued from Eldham. She tells the party that Merith has information for them about supporters of the Paragons and to speak with her in Eldham about it. She also mentions seeing strangely dressed riders searching about the foothills around Fort Elden.

The players decide to make a trip to Fort Elden to see what's up. Tamas, Ronan, and Sabine stay behind. Along the road, they encounter a Human caravan of merchants under attack by Paragons who match the description of the strangely dressed riders Talindra warned them about. They defeat the cultists and the merchants offer them a discount on their goods. The players buy the Greater Healing Potion Recipe and the 10 ingots of Shadesteel, offering the Ioun Stone of Reserve they found on Rhys' body months ago as payment for most of the metal. They warn the Humans to steer clear of Eldham due to the political climate and get back to the road.

Summer goes to speak to Tabitha and tells her the latest news. Dain also goes to speak to Reginard and then pays a visit to Eldham's Excellent Elixirs to collect his monthly revenue. Reginard also tells Dain to have a chat with Bree at the town library to see if she might have some information about the location of the Tomb of Inridil.
