Session 10

Party investigated the sewer and found the magically sealed crates. They pressed on and found the bodies of the Goblinoids and encountered the Otyugh, which they defeated without much difficulty due to shitty rolls on the Otyugh's part and because they bottlenecked it in the tunnel.

Party went back to Merith and told her of the magically sealed crates and she informed them of the plans to investigate Wolfwater. She sent Scouts and Scholars to the sewers to investigate the crates. After the investigation, she determined they would need the help of a Wizard, and she just so happened to have heard of a Wizard passing through town that could be found at the Messy Cushion. She also asked the party to investigate to learn more about Adamar and suggested they check the census office for information about him.

Party decided to pursue Khatar Ravacan's house and went to the headquarters of Eldham's Enforcers. They encountered the aloof Enforcer captain Lysanthir, who they convinced to let them view Khatar's belongings. They found some words scribbled on the back cover that they determined to be a command phrase. They made their way back to Khatar's house and used the phrase to lower the wards on his house. Inside, they found a Ring of Goblin Detection, and determined based on Khatar's library, that he was a pervert, and found a couple scrolls they have not yet identified: a Scroll of Clairvoyance and Scroll of Gaseous Form.

Party went looking for Marcel, the visiting Wizard, and found him passed out at the Messy Cushion bar, with Reginard telling them that he's a bum who can't pay his tab.
