Jarko Lovari (YAR-koh loh-VAH-ree)
Warden of the Zāgros (Current)
Jarko Lovari was born to a traveling Romani family that roamed between markets and riverbanks, carrying with them music, craft, and an unbroken thread of memory. Even as a boy, Jarko carried a gift for seeing fairness where others saw conflict. His youth did not prevent his selection — at barely twenty, he was raised by his people to stand as one of the Wardens of the Zāgros, his age a reminder that wisdom can shine even in those not yet seasoned.
Jarko is vibrant and expressive, known for his laughter as much as his eloquence. He is rarely seen without his violin, which he plays in council chambers during recesses, claiming that music often accomplishes what words cannot. His personal life is fluid: he maintains a union with a dancer from his community, but also enjoys close ties with several traveling companions who join his household seasonally. He views family as a caravan — always moving, always changing, but bound by trust.
