Rule: Services

Spend a night in a comfy bed, send a parcel back home, or even board an airship to the other side of the world. While not exactly gear, services provide value to the coin-heavy and time-light.
Room & Board
The road is long and unforgiving. A bed and a well cooked meal is a simple, well deserved luxury.  
  • Room & Board will provide you with adequate food and sleep to avoid the effects of Starvation and Fatigue for a day.
  • More expensive establishments may include extra perks:
    • Full Service: Give you an Advantage usable when you see fit.
 
Cost: 1 (Basic Room & Meal)
Cost: 10 (Full Service)

 
Workshop rental
Crafters need an appropriate space to practice their art. Fortunately, the required Workshops can be rented from trade organizations, universities, local governments, or willing individuals.  
  • Workshops can be rented for a Downtime (Crafting & Work) or a single Repair.
  • Materials are not included in the price and must be provided by the craftsman.
  • Using a High-end Workshop grants you a Minor Bonus (+2) on your Crafting roll.
 
Cost: 3 per Downtime (Basic Workshop)
Cost: 20 per Downtime (High-end Workshop)

 
Treatment service
You’ve been wounded and your priority on entering town is to find the local healer (or engineer!) to patch you up.  
  • During Downtime (Heal an Injury), you can pay a healer, or Engineer if you are a Mechanoid, to remove any number of Injuries of your choice, for an extra fee.
    This paid treatment enable you to heal more then 1 Injuries.
  • Severed or Mutilated limbs can be replaced with Prosthetics. Not all treatment centers will have access to prosthetics, or be able to conduct this type of surgery.
 
Cost: 5 (Remove an Injury)
Cost: Varies depending of the graft
150 for Basic Prosthetic.
450 for Advanced Prosthetic.

 
Crafter commission & Repair
If you want a bespoke weapon or potion created, or need your favorite suit of armor patched up, then commission a Crafter.  
  • Fixing Gear : Costs ½ the value price of the chosen item (rounded up), up to a maximum of 50, (based on Mundane gear price for a Magical gear).
  • Commissioning Customized gear : Costs 50% more than the usual cost (rounded up).

If you have a Crafting Discipline, you can sell this Service with a Downtime (Crafting & Work).
For example, Alchemy, Cooking, Forging, Engineering, Tailoring, or Enchanting.

 
Recreational attractions
Opera houses, underground spas, and locations that focus on personal enjoyment.    
Cost: 5 per Downtime (for 2 persons)

 
Post services
While there are many local runners, they aren’t much help when it comes to sending messages or items to another kingdom or continent. Fortunately, the different Post provides adventurers with a reliable postal service. They appear in most town and village.  
  • Will deliver messages and items to any other Post Station, via their network of relay teams.
  • Deliveries are guaranteed to arrive within a timeframe representing the double of the time it would take to fly to one point to another.
  • Deliveries are insured. In the event of loss/damage a full refund is offered.
  Cost: 1 per message/letter (Deliver message/letter (any distance))
Cost: 50 per item (3 Slot Max.) (Deliver item (same region))
Cost: 100 per item (3 Slot Max.) (Deliver item (another region))
 
Travels
Without access to an air or seagoing vessel, travel can be hard and some destination, nearly impossible to reach. Fortunately, merchants and sailors with large enough ships will offer passage, for a price.  
  • When on an inter-regional voyage you can participate in 1 Downtime Activity, limited to what is available to you on the vessel.
  • Pets travel free, but a seat must be paid for Mounts.
  • You can choose to assist the crew on the voyage. This halves your fare, but forfeits any chance of indulging in a Downtime Activity.
  • You can try to convince the captain of the vessel to take you into unusual travel path/territory, but this will cost you double.
  Cost: 50 per seat (Maritime Vessel)
Cost: 100 per seat (Sky Ship)  
  • Trailblazing = Cost x2
