Rule: Armor types

Protective clothing is classified into four Armor Types, which group together armor of a similar performance. For example, leather rags and a courtier’s mail shirt offer a low protective value and are considered Light Armor.   Each Armor Type has :
  • Defense Bonus : The amount the Armor improves your Defense Rating.
  • Max. Speed : This is the highest Speed achievable while wearing the armor.
  Combat gear allowance :
Your Class and Species size limit the Armor Types you are able to use without penalty.
Wearing restricted Armor means…
  • The Armor’s Max. Speed is reduced by one step.
  • All your Attack roll are in Disadvantage.
  • All your Strength and Dexterity Check are in Disadvantage.

  Removing/Equiping an armor :
Removing or equiping any armor takes between 1 to 10 minutes, depending of the Armor Types, unless otherwise stated, making it almost impossible to do it during a Fight.
