Specie: Elf
Ancient, graceful, and proud, Elves are among the oldest known peoples of the world. Their connection to nature runs deep — especially to the towering, magical World Trees that pulse with ancient life. From the forested kingdom of Lorynthia to scattered tribes near mature World Trees, Elves live long lives in pursuit of knowledge, refinement, and natural harmony. Though they often look down on other species, they have also learned to live alongside those few they deem worthy — especially those in tune with nature’s flow.
Specie overview

Physiology : Elves are tall, slender, and finely featured. Their ears are long and expressive, and their gaze often carries a weight of centuries. Though not immortal, they live up to 300 years, aging slowly and with elegance.
Deameanor : Most Elves are composed, measured, and slow to act without deliberation. Many are proud — even haughty — and tend to see other species as crude or short-sighted. Yet among their own kind or those they respect, they can be warm, poetic, and deeply loyal.
Outlook : Elves believe in legacy, balance, beauty and wisdom. They believe that patience reveals all things, and that the fastest path is rarely the wisest. Their long lives foster quiet pride, often slipping into disdain for shorter-lived species. Elves see most others as impulsive, loud, or wasteful — though they respect those in harmony with nature.
History : Elves claim they were the first to walk the land, and legends speak of a time when they bent dragons to their will and ruled the surface world. Their fall came slowly, as dragons faded and younger species, especially humans, spread and multiplied. Today, most Elves live in the forest kingdom of Lorynthia, whose young World Trees form a cradle of life and magic. Others dwell in isolated tribes around the world’s few mature World Trees, living in harmony or secrecy. Some Elves have traveled far in search of lost truths or new meaning — and a few still dream of restoring their lost dominion.
Adventurers : Elven adventurers are often seekers of lost knowledge, protectors of the old ways, or outcasts from traditional society. While some travel with disdain, others move with curiosity or even genuine respect for the potential of younger species.
Typical Name : Elven names are melodic and old, often drawn from nature, stars, or myth. Titles and honor-names are common among the old families.
