Varynn Halfling

Race: Halfling

Sub-race: Varynn (VAIR-in)

Physical Description: Around 3 feet in height with dark eyes and tanned skin.

Background: Most Varynn halflings live in small close-knit family bands, traveling in large, colorfully-painted wagons from town to town. Their trade as they travel is selling goods, tinkering and fortune-telling. They do have playful and sometimes even mischievous streaks. They enjoy dancing and music and song and, especially, getting the better of the big folk. They seldom stay in any one area for very long. When asked about their wagons and traveling, they'll often grin and say "Blame me itchy feet!" and wiggle their hairy toes for emphasis. The Shenn treat them as untrustworthy inferiors. The Varynn vary little in physical appearance from their cousins the Shenn although they tend to have darker skin and hair color. Varynn numbers are small and scattered across the central east coastal areas of Aorlan.
