Aaa

Pronounced: AHH

Titles: God of Time and Space, Father of the Gods

Divine Rank: Primal God

Position: Aaa is the first primal god. He existed before all other gods. It was he who made Dkarmun, the Primal Greater God of Entropy, and Tinwetari, the Primal Greater Goddess of the Stars and Mother of the Gods. Aaa is the great watcher of the universe. He looks out and sees all but merely observes and never interferes.

Appearance: Aaa is generally depicted as a vaguely humanoid being whose gigantic form is composed of stars and whole galaxies. His energetic field encompasses the entire universe. Special emphasis is always given to the appearance of his eyes which are said to be able to see everything that happens in the universe.

Backstory: Aaa was the first of the gods to appear when the universe was very young and without light. All around him was dark matter and he was alone. As eons passed, Aaa searched ever wider, yet he found no one else. Finally, he decided to take action and brought a second entity into being. However, in the darkness a tiny flaw was missed and the entity that was created turned out to be a being of entropy and chaos. Now known as Dkarmun, God of Entropy and Chaos, this primal greater god quickly diffused throughout the universe, bringing disorder to every corner. Aaa then set out to create a second being, this time one more to his liking. However, once again, a tiny flaw that was introduced by chaos changed his creation. Instead of a being of dark matter, what Aaa had created was a being of light. This being is now known as the primal greater goddess Tinwetari, the Mother of the Gods. As Tinwetari began eons of creation in the new universe filled with light, Aaa sat back and merely watched all the wonders unfold.

Cleric Alignments: Neutral is preferred, but Neutral Good, Lawful Neutral, Chaotic Neutral, and Neutral Evil are allowed.

Portfolio: Time and Space. Aaa observes and notes all that passes. His powers of observation extend to every part of every plane of existence. He is the absolute lord of the known universe, yet he chooses to sit back disengaged, silently observing all events as they transpire.

Domains: Ruins, Time, Void

Allies: None

Enemies: None

Holy Weapon: None

Special Ability: Time Jump: Clerics can move forward or backward in time once per day. The amount of time they can jump is 1 minute per cleric level.

Dogma, Clergy, Temples: The clergy of Aaa are very few in number and they are found scattered around Raios. It is rare to find more than two in any location. All clergy will have taken vows of refusal. These vows render them non-participatory in world events. They will refuse all requests to provide any assistance to change the course of current events. Their vows only allow them to silently observe what is happening. They will, however, provide historical knowledge for a price, but only if the knowledge sought has no direct bearing on current events. Mostly the clergy of Aaa live in their ancient, ruined temples seemingly staring into space. The Temples of Time are always ruined structures that appear to be extremely ancient. Most of the time, the temples are so old that only bare remains of a once grand temple can be seen. The clergy live under harsh conditions but seem to persevere through what befalls them without seeming to be affected by it to any major extent. Attempts to capture or attack them will prove futile as the clergy will simply time shift away from their harassers.

Tenets: Clergy are strictly forbidden from involving themselves in the daily affairs that surround them. They may not help or assist any endeavor that could change history in even the slightest way. They are required to refuse all such requests and merely silently observe what passes. They may provide historical information on a limited basis but only if the request will not affect present day events.

Paladin Code: Aaa does not have paladins.

Sects and Cults: The Watchers are a cult of Aaa. They appear to be very advanced in age and dress in extremely old ragged gray colored robes. They act as observers of great world events hoping that their observations are noted by Aaa who is said to see all. Their sudden arrival at any location brings alarm to those who understand the significance of their presence, though few know who they are and most pass them off as old beggars. Watchers often show up at major events such as historic battles and great tragedies. The watchers never interfere in events or take sides no matter how noble. They simply silently and dispassionately observe the events around them. They care nothing about worldly possessions but seem satisfied with living at a level of bare subsistence level. They are said to be blessed with tremendous lifespans and rumors say that many of the human Watchers live for over a thousand years. Watchers are capable of time shifting so that they can avoid attacks or harassment.
