Position: Oconi is the Great Goddess of the White Moon. She is the daughter of Aaa, the God of Time and Space, and Tinwetari, the Goddess of the Stars and Creation. Oconi is the mother of some of the Lesser Gods. Her large white moon is the largest and brightest object in the night sky, and its highly predictable lunar cycles are used to delineate the months of the calendar year. Each month takes exactly 30 days to go through a complete lunar cycle. The White Moon of Oconi is also responsible for the regularity of the tides on Raios.

Appearance: Beautiful woman with long white hair. Her eyes are a light-yellow color.

Backstory: Of the three moon goddesses of Raios, Oconi has the greatest influence on happenings on the planet. Her influence brings the tides to the oceans of Raios, and she is a powerful influence of good upon Raios. Oconi teams up with Lir Dhal to provide light to the world, Lir Dhal during the day, and Oconi at night. Oconi often finds herself pitted against the dark schemes of Morwyn, Goddess of the Black Moon and Darkness.

Holy Symbol: Oconi’s holy symbol is a white silver disk that depicts the 12 moons of the year. The interior disk depicts the moons image in its center.

The clergy always strive to oppose darkness and evil. Services and rituals are typically celebrated at night with all major religious events taking place during full moons. Temples and shrines to Oconi exist all over Raios. Most of Oconi’s clergy are female.

Tenets: Promote the cause of good whenever possible. Bring light to dark places.
