Spooktober Entry Archive 2025

Welcome to the Spooktober Hub

Spooky Season is probably my most favourite time of the year. Anyone who knows me is well aware of my morbid fascination with the concept of death, ornamental dead things, undeath, and general horror-themed spoopy "goodness". There's a reason why my favourite of my own Deities is the Elvish Death God! Spooktober has therefore become one of my favourite worldbuilding concepts, and there's no way I'll be missing out on the spooky fun!!!

Spooktober 2025

As with Summer Camp, I have decided to collect all my Spooktober articles together in one place. This will also act as an organisational hub for the redirection articles, which I will attach to this Archive rather than having them floating about independently within the categories. I have discovered that I very much prefer to use the correct article template when creating things, as I know exactly how and where I need to customise them, so I will continue to do so and will link to the correct articles using the redirectional articles, which will in turn link to my Spooktober Main Hub. This should allow me to claim my badge, while also keeping everything I create organised in the way I prefer.

The Theme

While I do enjoy Lord of the Rings, I am not going to be doing too much inspired by it within the context of my world. This is mainly because I already have ideas and plans in place, and I don't want to get distracted by things that may not be particularly relevant in my own world.

Instead, I'm going to be focusing on a few areas of my world that I haven't really written about yet, though I have a large amount of notes, as well as one that is relevant to both my personal interests, and what is happening within one of my games right now.

I may also take a look at some cursed or spooky locations, as I really want to get back into making art after nearly a 10-month hiatus, and I think locations are the best way to achieve this!
