"Broods" - Argiope the Broodmother
I had originally intended to do something a little more out of the box with this prompt, but ended up settling into the "broodmother" zone as I couldn't get Argiope out of my head! I studied a few variations of the "spider demon" mythology before settling on Argiope's appearance, adding in some real life orb weaver spider traits too.
Argiope is a spider-like Demon Lord that came to A'arde's Navian Planes with her sister, not long after the Splitting of Navia. She is a deadly, poisonous individual that commands vast broods of her own "children" in combat.
