"Pits" - The Foetid Pit
I decided to write about the Foetid Pit because it recently got mentioned during one of my game sessions. I had been trying to think of something a little more unique to write, and the area's catastrophic disaster, coupled with its unique combination of magical energies, seemed to make this more interesting!
The Foetid Pit is a giant sinkhole with a ruin within, which was once a rural retreat for alchemists and herbologists on the Isle of Swords. The Pit is most famous for its noxious stench, which can traverse several miles in favourable winds, as well as its higher than average concentration of Undead.
