Subtle Coinpurse

A Subtle Coinpurse is a magically enchanted item that contains an extra-dimensional space, or pocket dimension, within the guise of a simple, leather coinpurse. Similar to a Holding Bag, Subtle Coinpurses can carry far more than their exterior dimension suggest, while remaining relatively light in comparison.

The Coinpurses are relatively rare, and simple versions are generally purchased for around 100 gold. Those with more extravagant detailing or decoration can cost as much as 250 gold. Subtle Coinpurses can also be purchased with Warding Toggles, which prevent anyone that has not been designated as an "owner" from opening the pouch. These toggles, often made with enchanted red or blue Aegistone, can add a further 100 gold to the purchase price.

A Subtle Coinpurse can carry 100 lbs in weight, taking up no more than 13 cubic feet of space. The Coinpurse will only ever weigh a maximum of 3 lbs, regardless of the number of items within. While not generally considered dangerous, if a Subtle Coinpurse is place inside an extra-dimensional space created by a Holding Bag, Portable Hole, or similar item, both items are instantly destroyed and a tear to the Astral Plane is opened.
