"Doom" - The Coming of Aegis

For this prompt, I chose to write about the avoidance of certain doom, and how the threat of said original doom still exists despite the events that led to its avoidance. I know that I haven't touched much on The Time Before Renewal to this point (I have three prompts left at this point, not including this one), despite it being one of my key themes, so I figured I'd try to change that.

"The Coming of Aegis" tells of the arrival of the Great Shield and Last God of Ankhvaar, and how He changed the fate of A'arde to ensure its continued survival. It is a key part of the Origin Story of A'arde in its current iteration, and hints that there was an existence previously upon the world that has long been lost.
