"Barrow" - The Barrowveld

Okay, I leaned a little into the "Barrow Downs" for this one... in part because I had in mind an image that I really wanted to place within my world: a stepped hill surrounded by barrows in various stages of decay. "Barrow" made the perfect choice for this particular creation, though it could also have gone under "Remote" or "Downfallen".

The Barrowveld is a former Royal burial ground that fell into disuse as the Hallowed Wards decayed, allowing monsters to overtake the area. While still a tempting location for graverobbers seeking a fortune, it is well known for being haunted by the ghosts of those who fell prey to the areas very nasty monsters.
