Background: The Herukh have lived in isolation on the high plateau of Taa and in the hidden valley of Nan Echor since before The Great Cataclysm. Legends say they migrated northward through the great plains of Palanlad after a conflict with the Movorian Empire, who they steadfastly opposed. They live a quiet life in harmony with nature and are allies of the Valtauri of Linde Lothtaur. Well known for their highly advanced knowledge of elemental magic, they live in towns and cities carved from massive bedrock outcroppings. Most of the Herukh people follow the ancient religion of the Druids while the Herukh that work magically with the elements often worship the elemental deities.
