Summer Camp 2025
July Festivities
Summer Camp is finally here and July, as always, is set to be a whirlwing of a month, not just with the crazy amount of writing, but also in real life. Birthdays, anniversaries, family time, and Cheyenne Frontier Days as always will keep me busy, but that doesn't stop me from enjoying my absolute favorite event on World Anvil.
This year marks my 7th! Summer Camp on World Anvil as I jumped head first into all things worldbuilding and this platform during Summer Camp 2019 and have not looked back. It is beyond exciting to celebrate this milestone and continue the project that brought me to this community in the first place.
I decided to take some time off during Summer Camp this year so I could focus on putting out quality content in Isekai while also stomping stubs like I have done in the past. My playlists are sorted, my electronics charged, and I'm ready to write no matter where the month takes me.
Goals
Summer Camp Prep Month came and went so quickly that I barely had time to do more than the bare minimum of the homework. Either way, I'm still jumping straight into the prompts and am attempting to use as many stubs as I can. I found that working through stubs and only making new articles when there is not an existing one to fill a prompt helps keep the motivation flowing. The prompts will be all over Isekai this year as we've made a great number of articles since last year's Summer Camp. At this point, we are well over 1900 articles and so very close to 1 million words written in the world. If the motivation keeps going, hopefully Summer Camp will help us reach some of our larger milestone goals.SC25 Pledge
My Summer Camp pledge is to write amazing articles to fill out the world of Isekai while having fun and not burning out! For the sixth year in a row, I will be attempting Diamond.
Follow Isekai to keep up with all the new updates and my Summer Camp adventure!
