Valmyrri Elf

Race: Elf

Ethnicity: Valmyrri (val-MEER-ee)

Physical Description: Dark tanned skin with silvery or golden hair and eyes of red or purple

Background: Surviving the Great Cataclysm relatively intact, the Valmyrrian Empire stands as the most powerful force in Raios today. With their mastery of the sea, their navy remains the most formidable in all Raios and pirates fear them for their speedy and well-armed ships. Their great love of the sea makes them common in coastal ports throughout the world and they often choose professions that keep them close to the sea. While other elven races rarely travel on ships, the Valmyrri are reknowned sailors and ship builders. They are also masters of magic and possess great libraries containing vast amounts of ancient knowledge. The Valmyrri live in a high magic culture where magical items are common. Valmyrri elves often behave haughty towards other races, particularly humans, who they consider an inferior race.
