Royal Road neighbourhood: a tourist guide

All you need to know before visiting!

History

The neighbourhood of Royal Road is at the heart of Lernée, the capital of Milara, and so also at the heart of the titanic architecture design that protect the country.   While it has never been breached by enemies for all that Aquatio keeps trying, the neighbourhood has been destroyed several times in the far past, as our mathematicians were developing the revolutionary titanic technology and learning its strengths and dangers. This has allowed for the Royal House to get control of the entire area and for each successive king to remodel it to their wishes.   His Majesty King Vendelin de Liancourt has chosen to make it a wonderful promenade where all Lernéens' desires can be met, from satisfying their senses to filling their wardrobes, from cultural activities to action, from excitement to calm rest.

Heart of the neighbourhood

This neighbourhood was built around the most important buildings in all of Milara:
  • The Royal Palace and its amazing gardens, home of His Majesty, the government, and the Royal Council;
  • The Royal Mathematicians' Headquarters;
  • The Duelling Arena;
  • The Royal Concert Hall.
  •

    Other activities

    Royal Road is primarily the perfect promenade for wealthy people. Among its many buildings, you can find:
  • Restaurants;
  • Shops, including the (in)famous Royal Road Confectionary Shop;
  • Jewellery workshops, where you can have the best magical devices in Milara crafted, including unique cubes for clippable devices;
  • Fantastic examples of abstract art everywhere;
  • A lot of greeneries and benches where you can admire nature and watch people at your leisure.
  •   Royal Road also still welcomes a few expensive townhouses, including some that are traditionally granted to Royal Councilmen upon their appointment, as well as the residence of this year's Duelling Champion. So keep your eyes opened and you might meet the most powerful people in Milara!

    This was amazing and I would love to visit this town for sure! The map and your art are so beautiful <3 So, one question is the settlement now finished and safe? Or do the mathematicians' experiments continue and can still backfire, as they did in the past?

    I survived Summer Camp! Check out what I wrote in my Summer Camp Hub Article

    Thanks <3 Don't worry, the neighbourhood is now 100% safe, no mysterious explosion in at least a century! Of course, if the enemy country manages to completely destroy the defences, then the palace and mathematicians' headquarters will disappear in a big cloud of smoke, but if so people will have bigger problems to care about...
