Aquatio: the enemy country. Named after the Latin aquatio, the act of stocking up on water, or a place where water is found, as a reference to potions.

Milara: the country where the story takes place. Not named after anything.

Cities

Lernée: the capital of Milara. Not named after anything, but with a name similar to "learning", referencing their love for maths.

Valie: a provincial capital in the North of Milara, with a famous Duelling Ring (see Duelling challenges against the King).
