Half-Ghruz Orc

Race: Half-Ghruz (GROOZE)

Physical Description: Half-Ghruz are the result of a cross between humans and Ghruz. The result is usually a broad shouldered 5.5-6.5’ tall human with bestial features such as coarse bristly hair, sloping brow ridges, and small tusks protruding from their lower jaw.

Background: The relatively large number of half-Ghruz in western Arnheim is a result of a long war with the Ghruz tribes of Thontaur two generations ago. While Ghruz are never welcome in human cities, half-Ghruz are tolerated. The half-Ghruz’s bestial facial features cause them to be feared and looked down upon. As a result, people of half-Ghruz decent are almost universally a part of the lower class. Legends say that the Ghruz are a race of corrupted humans that migrated from the old Kishari Empire following The Great Cataclysm. They generally have low intelligence but great strength and are quick to anger.
