Dungeons & Dragons Character Creation Guidelines:

Ability Score Racial Traits: +2 strength, +1 constitution, -1 intelligence, -2 charisma

Age. Half-Ghruz reach adulthood in their middle teens and usually live much less than a century. Size. They are broad shouldered and typically 5.5-6.5’ tall and so Medium in size.

Speed. Base walking speed is 30 feet.

Alignment. Half-Ghruz tend toward but are not limited to Chaotic alignments.

Languages: They begin play speaking Common and a choice of either Ghruz or the native language of where they live. Half-Ghruz with an Intelligence score greater than 12 can choose an additional starting languages.

Feat and Skill Racial Traits:
Intimidating Nature: They receive a +2 racial bonus on Intimidation checks due to their fearsome appearance and nature. In addition, Intimidation is always a Proficient skill, and can use their Strength bonus rather than Charisma bonus, if that would be higher. However, this fearsome appearance and nature makes negotiation more difficult. Half-Ghruz receive a -2 penalty on Persuasion checks when dealing with all races other than Half-Ghruz.

Offense Racial Traits:
Half-Ghruz Ferocity:
Once per day, when a Half-Ghruz is brought below 0 hit points but not killed, they can continue to fight for 1 more round. At the end of that round, unless brought above 0 hit points, they immediately fall unconscious and begin making death saves as usual.

Senses Racial Traits:
Low-Light Vision:
They can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light. Unlike other orcish humanoids, bright sunlight does not bother them.
