Fio of Dayspring
Head Curator and Research Specialist Fio of Dayspring (a.k.a. Joyful Snapdragon)
Fio is a clever, cunning, and self-confident Sylvari woman with a deep interest in mystery and adventure. She is well known for her resourcefulness, her charm, and her literary prowess.
Diyon
In Diyon, Fio was a bold adventurer and Phasticaar Field Agent who served as the party's Cleric. She worshiped Mineralis, God of Value, and once opined that she appreciated the God's views of value not necessarily in the material, but in the things that truly mattered.
In the end, Fio disagreed with Pan's plans to use the Convergence to fix Diyon's Corruption and left the party behind to return to her own reality. She was left in conversation with Coyra when the Collapse occurred.
Nexus
In Nexus, Fio is a Bard and while she admires the adventuring spirit, had chosen instead to assist Phaasticar through her skills with the pen; alongside her best friend Pan. She lived a comfortable and successful life until adventure came to her in the form of an irresistible mystery.
Now, after meeting Byeol, Fio has learned about her other past and is set on a path to continue uncovering the truth behind what happened that night in Diyon and where the world now stands.
The Scrapyard
It was Fio who suggested the party's first stop be The Scrapyard after Byeol mentioned Mineralis might be trapped there. While the Yard might not be a bastion of High Society, it was certainly full of intrigue. Fio met up with runaway socialite darling Marian Swann and the handsome if unfortunate Tabor Hazard both of whom piqued her interest. She ensured they both were set up to get the help they needed.
Later, Fio was able to tap into her connection to Mineralis to locate their prison crystal beneath The Scrap Heap. Together with the party, she would prove her embrace of value's concepts while helping to show Mineralis that we can become blind to hidden value if we allow ourselves to be tied down to our own perceptions.
The Road to AeMach
Fio used her skills in communication and investigation to help uncover a variety of information on Brassfounder's Street. Whether this meant negotiating with Goblins, investigating a murder, or entertaining a village.
