Chapter Three - Session 17

Rewards Granted

Renown - Brynholm

Between safely returning Rosemary to her home, assisting in local chores, and a fantastic party the people of Brynholm see the party as trustworthy and friendly individuals. The children of Brynholm have grown to deeply respect Dwell in particular. Alium, Rosemary's Mother, has specifically stated that she owes the party a favor.

Various Herbs

Ryshard has managed to obtain a fair number of specialty herbs grown by the folks at Brynholm.

A Token of Horologium

Ryshard has obtained a poker chip once tied to Brynholm's Great Tree. The chip has the symbol of Horologium carved into it.

Missions/Quests Completed

Found

The party successfully managed to return the previously missing Rosemary safely to her home. Her mother, Alium, was quite grateful.

Quest Impact: Saving the Stars

During the evening party, after Dwell's performance the Ryshard's tale of stars and corruption and hubris, Ryshard's illusory stars faded to reveal Mineralis' symbol alight in the night sky: the first sign of stars the Collapse has ever seen.

Quest Progress: The Babysitter's Club

On leaving Brynholm, the road shifts and shatters as the car nears AeMach; the real world giving way to the In-Between. Standing between the party and the city is Snake, though she looks just a bit different.

Character(s) interacted with

Rosemary and Sage Meadowbrooke

A pair of siblings who seem rather hellbent on picking fights with one another. Despite being much smaller than her older brother, Rosemary seems to take good advantage of her agility and her wits. In an effort to connect with the locals, Dwell spent the afternoon teaching the pair (along with other children) how to fight properly.

As a show of friendship, Dwell parted with their Soup Thermos Weasel granting it as a gift to Rosemary.

Alium Meadowbrooke

A tall and stocky woman; mother of Rosemary and Sage. She seems rather involved with her community and quite caring for her children (though perhaps a bit rough around the edges). Still, she's decided she owes the party a favor for caring for her daughter.

Barley and Sorghum

A pair of older gentlemen, a gnome and a human, who live in Brynholm. They appear to be comfortable opposites and are often tasked with fence repair and border patrol for Brynholm. Ryshard spend the afternoon with them offering assistance with their work.

Crazy Redd

A sharp-eyed ginger salesman with a penchant for calling folks friend or cousin. Supposedly a purveyor of fine art, Redd stopped Fio and Byeol on their way to the local bar looking to make a sale. The two returned to indulge him later (or perhaps to con the con man) only to discover that at least one of his pieces was the real deal: a painting stolen from the entertainment district of Neo City. While nothing was purchased, no bad blood was left between the trio and Redd even left Fio with his card before disappearing the following morning.

To make matters more interesting, apparently Adenno is already familiar with the man and has made a purchase in the past. Let's hope, for his sake, that particular piece was a fake.

Notes

Bastion Progress

Bastion progress has progressed by a day: 1/7

Garden Progress remains at 1/3

Sprout isn't slacking, but is taking things slow. Pigwiggle has found an excellent spot to nap. ST3-4M wishes Astra would play with him more. Astra has started to exhaust the books available on the bookshelf.
