Pandora

Pandora (a.k.a. Pan)

Pan was a mysterious young woman from an alternate reality that greatly resembled Luto's Crown Princess, Adora. She met the party in Cano shortly after the announcement of the Princess' death and explained her otherworldly connection. After that point, she accompanied the party as they traveled around Diyon to assist her in her mission to find the doorway between worlds.

Slow to trust, deeply troubled, but charmingly charismatic, Pan tends to make shallow allies fairly swiftly, though she struggles with long-term relationships.

Divine Domains

Deception
Lies, omissions, disguises, and illusions; Pan embodies the ideals of being anything but oneself. These traits are often viewed as solely negative, however they can operate in a protective manor as well.

Shadows
Not the absense of light, but light obscured. This parallels her to Lucerna in a similar manner that Fornax and Gelo are paralleled without the addition of Alcara.

Artifacts

Pandora's Box

A simple box with intricate carvings made of Cherry Wood and Iron. This box was designed by people from Pan's original reality to act as a prison. When opened, Pan is either trapped within or released from the box depending on her current status. While released, Pan is compelled to follow the orders of the box's holder. If the box has no holder, Pan is compelled to find someone to hold the box.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Average, dainty, and delicate but quick on her feet.

Identifying Characteristics

Fluffy Pink Hair and Pink Eyes.
When not hidden by her glamor, she also sports a set of shadowy butterfly wings.

Special abilities

Made of pure shadow, Pan's form is exceptionally fluid allowing her to blend into the darkness and travel within it. She can also manipulate shadows for whatever purposes she requires, with this connection flavoring all of her spellcasting.
As a faeborn spirit, Pan possess the "Glamour" ability, allowing her to shape her appearance to whatever she prefers. In her natural form, she is nothing more than a hulking shadow creature with a bright light at its core.

Apparel & Accessories

Gothic style in blacks and pinks with plenty of chains and ruffles. A very formal/regal sort of look while still appearing slightly menacing.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

According to her own tales, Pan was "born" into existance as the shadow of her powerful twin sister; causing the world to view her as a monster and an outcast. They locked her away, only for her to be "rescued" by those who would seek to use her powers for their own ends.

To regain control, Pan spent her time maniplating these villains into destroying each other while continuing to value whatever power she could offer. This earned her a poor reputation and powerful enemies.

Eventually, she would discover the Convergence: the nexus of the Multiverse. The mirrors reflected a myriad of tragedy with one exception: Diyon. Determined to disocver the secret to happiness, she stepped into Diyon's mirror and found herself in a new world.

In Luto, Pan sought out the Princess in pursuit of answers only to be informed of the Princess' untimely death. With nothing else left for her, she needed a way to return to the Convergence. It was here she met the Party and started to tag along.

Pan grew genuinely close to the group over the course of their adventure, stunned that they were willing to overlook her prior villainy and encourage her friendship.

Sexuality

Panromantic/Pansexual

Education

Pan never received any formal education, but like most spirits came into existence with a sense of general knowledge. She's had plenty of time to learn over the years she's been alive, and has learned the skills necessary for the services required of those she served.

Mental Trauma

Rejected by her peers in favor of her "sister" Pan made the early decision that if she was to be cast as a villain, then a villain she would be. This has damaged her ability to be genuine with others and to accept anything other than a transactional relationship.
