Almahna ('All-meh-nah')
Almahna is the desert continent in the east, but it is not all desert. Only really Northern Almahna is entirely sandy desert. Through the centre of the continent stretches a massive mountain range known as Mount Hellfire that separates the north from the south.
A river, known as the Nile River, runs from the northern coast to the foot of Mount Hellfire, which also feeds an underground aquafer underneath Southern Almahna, which in turn feeds the many lakes and ponds found there. As a result, Southern Almahna is more green and lush, with forests of palm trees and the like.
Also sitting at the foot of Mount Hellfire is the massive capital city of Calrune, attracting trade and commerse and culture from all over the world. Calrune is a melting pot of all kinds of different people and cultures. It has often been called the 'Centre of the World'.
