Cyglon
The Gola have been responsible for a great many atrocities for generations. They enslaved the humans who lived in Gothica before they arrived. They kidnapped humans from Atlantea and enslaved them. It is said they also performed genetic experimentation which resulted in the creation of the Vroks. It is said that Cyglon was itself just one more result from Golan genetic experimentation, but that they went even further this time, as far as cybernetic augmentation as well as experimentation.
However, how they managed to make it so ever Cheetorex in the world will now eventually Evo into Cyglon is unknown. This is the one thing which pokes holes in the theory in the first place. Whether they did genetically alter Cheetorex is a matter of some debate. On one hand, many argue that that would have taken many generations to pull that off. However, then again, the Gola are said to have the genetic memory of all Gola who came before. If that is so, they could have pulled it off in a fraction of the time.
But the other question is why they would go to this much trouble to do this in the first place. What would the end goal of such experiments be?
Cyglon now has psionic powers, powers the like of which none of its previous forms had, not even Spirarex. As well, there are also now plates of armour covering its body, the aforementioned cybernetic augmentation. In truth we may never know where these creatures originated. Is it possible they came from normal Mystimon evolution and not Golan experimentation at all?
Basic Information
Anatomy
Cyglon is bipedal, though has been known to transition to all fours whenever it needs to in order to catch something. There are metal plates covering portions of its body, such as its thighs and upper arms, and the flames that were there before are no longer there at all.
Genetics and Reproduction
Some believe that Cyglon proves a possible genetic link between Cheetorex and the Sabertooth. However, such a link has yet to be proven or disproven either way.

Ecology and Habitats
Cyglon are rarely seen, but they are mostly seen in desert or tropical regions.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Cyglon is carnivorous. What's different about it versus Cheglon is that, strangely, it appears to hunt as people would, suggesting a possible genetic link between it and perhaps Sabertooth.
Behaviour
While Cheglon is more ferocious and aggressive, Cyglon is instead more measured in its approach and calm in its behaviour.

Facial characteristics
Cyglon has a metal plate on its had, and a sort of blue lens over its right eye, and it still has the saber-like fangs that it had as Cheglon.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
They are rarely seen, but when they are, they're only ever see in the serengeti plains of Southern Almahna.

They are highly intelligent, perhaps among the most intelligent Mystimon in the world.
