Psimorph
The gentle beasts of the mountains have become the gentle fliers. Or rather gliders, as they aren't quite able to fly long distances. They are able to glide shorter distances however, up to around 35 to 40 meters. Its psionic powers have also gotten a huge boost. Where it lacks in gliding ability, it can also levitate itself in the air.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Psiclare is a little larger than its previous form, Psiclare, and the spiny appendages on its fore arms have now grown into large bat-like wings. The crest upon its head is also now larger and more beautiful and ornate than before.
Biological Traits
Psimorph has now evolved the ability to glide short distances. As well its psionic powers have grown more powerful than before. Sometimes, as needed it will use its telekinetic ability to levitate itself and give itself more lift.

Psimorph has now moved further into caves as well as into the Deep.
Dietary Needs and Habits
It feeds on mushrooms and other vegetation.

Psimorph, like its previous forms, have a gentle and kind nature.

Social Structure
Psimorph lives in large family groups. They can have rather large clutches of eggs, which it will raise from the shell to adulthood. When these creatures mate, they mate for life, as the mother and father will remain together through the entirety of their lives.
Domestication
Psimorph, like its previous forms, are often used as beasts of labour and burden on farms and other places, particularly in Almahna.
Facial characteristics
Psimorph has a long narrow snout with large purple eyes and a huge ornately beautiful crest upon its head.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
They are mostly found in caves and the Deep in Almahna, Highwind, Olympus, and Atlantea.
Average Intelligence
Psimorph are extremely intelligent creatures, raising serious moral concerns about the use of them for manual labour.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Psimorph has telepathic and telekinetic powers, as well as empathic abilities. They will know what you are thinking as well as what you are feeling. In this way they can easily tell from a glance whether they can trust you.
Discovery
"Jane Dawn, my assistant, once again also deserves the credit for this discovery. She took the initiative and continued to observe the Psicon for quite some time, long after we had left and reported our findings to the scientific community. She was sure that there was something else we were missing, some other missing link. The last link in the chain as it were. As it would turn out, she was right.
Over time she noticed some of the Psiconus beginning to break away from the colony and move on. She followed one, a male, all the way to the village on the coast, Omuschia, where she followed it into the Deep cavern there. As she did, she was able to observe their mating habits. These wondrous creatures mate for life, she wrote to me.
Eventually she would observe the female of the pair Evo into Psiclare as the male Psiconus would begin to head out and forage and bring food back to her, as she babysat their clutch of eggs. She followed and observed this family over the course of the follow three summers.
By the last summer, she came to find that the group had moved from their spot. She looked everywhere for them, only to find that they had moved further into the caves. And as she found them, she discovered that the female was laying down as though it were sick. Concerned, Jane move to try to help the poor creature. But as she did, the male, now a Psiclare as well, stepped into her way and snapped at her, as though to tell her to stay back.
As she watched in horror, suddenly the female Psiclare rose into the sky and began to change form, as its fore arms now grew into wings and the crest upon its head grew much larger and more ornate. By the end it landed back on the ground, standing and appearing as though nothing happened, other than that it was now a completely different creature, which Jane would name, 'Psimorph'.
