Information: NAH616-A is the spirit double of NAH616 and takes the appearance of a Ahuizotl. These creatures are unbelievably rare and valuable, spirit doubles even more so. These creatures are off limits to collection and study due to the Spirit Animal Collection Treaty of 1880.
This small adorable raccoon-like creature is the spirit double of Maria Citlali. Tochtli is literally her and is Maria's soul in physical form. Their personalities do differ greatly though they share a mental link. Wherever Maria goes, Tochtli is with her. The creature is able to turn invisible for short periods of time but is most often seen curled up on Maria's shoulders
Familiars are allowed at Manalith Academy, but no one currently attending has ever seen an ahuizotl before Tochtli came along. Within a few weeks one of the students, Savannah, taught her to give a thumbs up with its hand-tail. By the end of the school year, Tochtli knew all sorts of gestures, including some that she probably shouldn't know. the creature was also introduced to her new favorite food: Marshmallows.
The Headmaster of Manalith, Arianne, didn't question how Maria got a scholarship to her academy at first, but now suspects something else at work and thinks an interested party might be after Maria's spirit double. With Maria's permission (which took a lot of help from Lulu Ortiz to convince her), Arianne put a tracking chip in Tochtli and has one of Manalith's servant dolls track the creature's location at all times now. If something ever happens to the creature while Maria is a student at Manalith, she will know.

Author's Notes
-My Nahuatl is pretty awful, but I think that's how you say "Tochtli is my little spirit"
