Sidon Valemont

Sid is a member of the affluent and prestigious Valemont family of demon hunters, who can trace their lineage to Roman times. Compared to many Fire Elementals who often go for big explosions and intense flames, Sid opts for surgical precision, often creating focused blades of white-hot plasma. His magic is incredibly efficient and he never seems to run out of energy.

Sid spent much of his childhood being tutored by the best teachers in the world and going to private schools. When he got to Manalith, he gained a reputation for being obsessively cold and precise with everything he does. His uniforms are perfectly tailored, his schoolwork is always immaculate, and he is never late or early to class. The teachers like his discipline but many students don't like being around him. This is just fine for Sid, who considers almost everyone to be beneath him except other elementals born into powerful families like his.

Having been raised in a rich family that got all its money and influence from hunting demons, Sid is understandably a little wary of them. In current times, humans with demonic ancestry are treated the same as everyone else, though this doesn't stop Sid from letting his thoughts be known about them at all times of the day. When dealing with demonic descendants, Sid doesn't care to put on a face and pretend to tolerate them. Most students find him too exhausting to deal with and think his ideals are nothing but outdated elitism. Many don't bother to engage with his nonsense.

Then there's Remi, who regularly talks back to him. The two argue constantly, whether its in the middle of class or at the nearby arcade. Remi is the one who ends up getting Detention afterwards, usually for excessively cursing and threatening violence, while Sid is let off the hook for just being annoying.
