This world takes place on a modern version of Earth with an alternate history, where the nations of the world are relatively intact though there are differences. The people of this world are almost all humans of every possible ethnicity, but all of them also have a Bloodlines sequence of DNA from distant ancestors that determine what abilities they have. Pure humans are exceedingly rare. These bloodlines can be from a number of ancient races, from Elves, to Vampires, to Elementals, Celestials, and Demons. Other bloodlines are a result of a blood-blessing from a God, as is the case with werewolves. Some are extremely powerful like Vampires, others are barely any different from humans like Elves.

Demons, ghosts, poltergeists, aliens, undead, dragons, and more...unspeakable things, inhabit this world as well. Many universes have a secret organizations of some sort that deals with these things. There are worlds with rumored Men in Black Suits that deal with alien scum, there are entire divisions of police forces that deal with undead beings. There are various foundations and organizations that deal with demons, and barely explainable phenomena, keeping humanity from the threshold of insanity and collapse. This world is no different.

In this world, they are known as the The Foundation (Determine, Detain, Defend), and do, exactly what their name says. They investigate anomalies and reports of inhuman activity, then they deal with them. Their primary mission is the defense of humanity. Thanks to the Great Revealing, the Foundation in this world is a public organization, though they still have their secrets.

But our focus isn't necessarily on that. The story here follows several older teens who are Junior Agents of the DDDF and are attending a school in the Northeastern United States known as Manalith Academy. They are balancing their school and social life with their professional life while trying to get the approval of their parents and not piss off the powerful beings that could kill them with a thought.

Scatterbrained Writing
In short, this is my Kitchen Sink World, where everything from mythology and folklore is true and possible, and then some. I prefer the term Scatterbrained World myself. It's my Urban Fantasy world with lots of Horror thrown in when needed. There's a High Fantasy aspect due to the elves and their secret kingdoms. There's some Alternate History thanks to the bloodlines altering the course of things. It takes place in a contemporary modern Setting. There's political drama, family drama, and high school drama. It has an MIB/SCP foundation ripoff who have a file on everyone and a contingency plan for literally everything.
