Rika Nikusu

Rika was born into a powerful family in the Kori-Nikusu clan in Northern Japan. When Rika was six, she was selected to become a Kori Ninja, and if she excelled enough, maybe even get the gift of vampirism. She learned to become one with shadow, to turn to mist and disappear. She learned how to use a blade and how to cast her powerful ice magic. During the night, she trained relentlessly. During the day, she was like any other ice elemental and seemed like a pretty normal girl with white hair. When not spending long hours learning ancient methods of spying and killing, she spent years practicing ballet and other dances.

Rika performed so well that when she was sixteen, she was offered the chance to undergo the ritual and become a vampire. While vampirism is normally hereditary, ice elementals can't pass it on to their children, so they have another method. Rika accepted her fangs willingly, having her blood drained by an ancient vampire and losing a fraction of her elemental powers. In return, she gained great strength, speed, and new forms of magic. With this her training was complete.

After this Rika somehow ended up in America, attending Manalith Academy as a second year student. The reason might be because of [REDACTED]. She quickly became friends with Tina, and is regularly seen among the 'elite' students of the school. Despite not even being a vampire until she was 16, she looks down on vampire commoners like Mina. She never publicly shows any negative emotion, though her words can often tell you exactly how she feels.

Rika became the Captain of the Dance team as a third year student. Some say it was due to her abilities as a dancer while others say she was very convincing when the coach made the decision to make her captain. It was most likely a combination of the two. She is not afraid to criticize even the most elegant wind elementals and she demands perfection from her team. With her in charge Manalith has scored at the top of every dance competition for over a year.
