Tearawa
The most ferocious and powerful warriors between all the Waka, the Tearawa are trained since they are children to the art of war.
History
The ancestor Tamatekapua landed at Maketū in the Bay of Plenty. The descendants of Te Arawa settled in the Rotorua area and established a strong tribal presence, with many famous stories and landmarks connected to the waka.
