Kurahaupō

One with nature, Kurahaupō people are the explorers, hunters and scavengers of the Māuikura, they take care of keeping the balance of the circle of life in the sacred land, gathering food for their people and keeping animals and plants safe from extinction.

History

It is said that the canoe suffered damage and needed repairs during its voyage. It eventually made landfall in various locations before reaching the sacred island.
