Tākitimu

Most noble tribe of Māuikura, they are the protector of the riches and treasures of the Māuikura and in charge of all diplomacy with the outside reigns.

History

Tākitimu has a significant legacy, travelling around the North and South Islands. It is associated with high-ranking ancestors and is considered a sacred canoe, having brought many important chiefs to Whenua.
