    Rising of the Savage Isles
    Geological / environmental event

    The rising of the savage Isles believed to be the results of all the gods working together to create new land where there before were shallow waters. Indeed many scriptures tell of this event although each god has a different version.   Here the gods created many different species. Some in their own image, some to grow strong and dominate the Isles. Common for all is that the gods used this to get more followers which they hoped would result in more power.

    The Chaotic Wars
    Military: War

    With each god creating races seperately from eachother many of the species soon met. However since the gods gained power from the number of followers and each race was competing to be the most numerous, this quickly turned most meetings bloody.

    Unification of the Savage Isles
    Military: War

    Although it was unknown to the species of the Savage Isles, the creation of the Holy Order of Druids, soon became known as druids began killing whoever would kill the forest on the southern area of the Savage Isles.

    The Great Forest War
    Military: War

    As the Savage Isles began unifying so did their resitance against the elves of the Holy Order of Druids. This soon developed into increasingly large retaliatory actions until in the end a band of humans in search of lumber for the construction of forts near Mil'el cut down a huge number of trees behind the battle lines of the druids. This started a full on war.

    War of Alliences
    Military: War

    As the war with the Holy Order of Druids died down the different races of the Savage Isles began consolodating their power. The humans were the quickest to do this as they took control of Mil'el, already a large city at this point. Quickly the other races followed suit and disputes over territory and resources soon resurfaced.

    Contact with the Azerketi
    Discovery, Exploration

    As the races of the Savage Isles required ever more space they soon began exploring the smaller islands in the northern part of the Savage Isles. Here they mostly did not find anyone, but as they reached one of the northernmost islands they stumbled upon a race of quatic humanlike creatures. They had named themselves the Azerketi and had already constructed a large town. According to their historians they had always been there since the land was created.

    War of the Great Evil
    Military: War

    With the rise of Li'sin Ar and the great evil that rose with it the Savage Isles were quick to take action. Despite the war initially taking place on territory controlled by the Holy Order of Druids the many races of the Savage Isles were quick to unify once again and send out forces to stop it, although thise did not go well.

    Religious Wars Restart
    Military: War

    It did not take long for the short-lived races on the Savage Isles to once again start warring against each other. This started missionaries spreading different faiths, but when they were met with violent ends it quickly escalated and before long the entire Savage Isles were embroiled in war.

    The Gods Learns of the New Wars
    Religious event

    After the gods sealed the remains of the great evil, they still had many things to rebuild from the war. It was in this situation they felt that many of their followers were dying in the Savage Isles.   As they rushed there to find them fighting among themselves, they set out to restore peace but failed to do so.

    The Gods Stop Intervening
    Diplomatic action

    After almost 50 years of trying to settle the conflicts, the gods had to stop their efforts. The 50 years had been trying for them and many factions, even among the gods, had emerged and fragmented the collective power of the gods.   This only got more urgent after the Prophecy of the Release of the Great Evil. The gods suddenly had a united goal once more and had no power to spare on a conflict they had been unable to diminish for 50 years.

    The First Peace of the Seond Age

    As the land was again developed, the wars decreased as resources became plentiful. This allowed for a period of peace where religion took a backseat as it became more useful to grow the communities by trading with others instead of trying to convert them.

    The Savage Isles Become Overpopulated
    Plague / Epidemic

    As the people of the Savage Isles flourished, the population rose and attracted people from all over E'ath. With the increase in population a plague, however, also followed.

    War Brews in the Southern Savage Isles
    Military: War

    As the plague slowly moved south from the northern parts of the Savage Isles, many of the trade routes from the north stopped in order to limit the spread of the plague.   This made many of the southern races restless and wanting more resources. As such skirmishes and warring once again started as they tried to force their influence further north and restart the lost trade routes.

    The Plague War

    As tensions grew between the north and south of the Savage Isles eventually the plague infected the southern areas. Many politicians accused the northern Isles of using magic to create a curse and further fueled the will for war.

    The Holy Order of Druids Encroach on the Savage Isles
    Military action

    When the Plague War had first started, the Holy Order of Druids had begun discussing their stance on the plague and the situation. With the election of the third archdruid, however, the discussion quickly took a turn for taking advantage of the situation and replant the forest.

    Magic Flourishes in the Savage Isles
    Scientific achievement

    With the plague slowly spreading and no stopping in sight some of the aristocrats of the Savage Isles began looking for a cure through magic. Eventually, a group of kitsune successfully discovered a spell capable of curing the plague.

    The Burned Forest Wars Begin
    Military: War

    As the plague slowly but surely got removed from the Savage Isles, the southern territories faced a new problem in the Holy Order of Druids that had slowly expanded the forest to be visible from Mil'el. Now able to focus on other things, the citizens quickly began focusing on the threat and pushing the forest back. This quickly escalated.

    The Hobgoblin Mirgation

    With the plague gone, many religious figureheads now argued that it was originally sent due to excessive warring between those who believed in gods. Although this did not sit well with many, it still made it hard for leaders to start new wars.   Now devoid of the original purpose their god had given them, the hobgoblin tribes set out for new battlegrounds.

    The Hobgoblin Unification

    While the hobgoblins had helped with the war against the Holy Order of Druids, it was still a losing battle. In the northern part of the Savage Isles, this was viewed as retribution for the plague wars with only the hobgoblins being able to bridge the gap as they had originally come from the north.

    The Burned Forest Wars Continue

    Although the alliance had long been accepted it was not before the year 874 AoW that the help from the northern territories arrived in full force. With the new force the Savage Isles slowly but surely began pressing the Holy Order of Druids back.

    Reestablishing a Border
    Military: War

    After the death of Zemos, many in the Savage Isles were rallied to the war against the Holy Order of Druids. Meanwhile, the druids were quickly losing control, and as such the battle progressed quickly against them. In the end, a border was established which gave a considerable amount of forest under the world trees protection to the residents of the Savage Isles.
