Savage Isles
The savage isles is an archipelago in the northwestern part of E'ath. It houses many strange creatures that while able to communicate in their own language rarely build any large structures and seem unable or unwilling to incorporate the forest in their settlements preferring instead to fight it and remove it wherever they go. This region is also home to the Mil'el Metropolis, the single largest city in all of E'ath.
While the archipelago is the original home to many of the races living there almost all of them have members spread across all of E'ath which in some cases learn how to live alongside nature.
All of the races living here typically have their own name for the area, with the Savage Isles name being given to it by the Holy Order of Druids due to their insistence on removing the forest around them.
Although the Savage Isles are in a state of constant flux races generally stick to the same locations they have always been in. For the catfolk this is the southwestern areas, while the ratfolk and hobgoblins generally stay in the northern parts with the hobgoblins especially being in the most northern ends. Despite this many of them have travelled south to protect the borders of the Savage Isles from the Holy Order of Druids.
Geography
The archipelago is mostly flat never going more than 100 ft. over sea level and small savannas dominate the larger islands.
Fauna & Flora
Despite the lack of forest this region houses many different types of animals although most of them are large mammals feeding of either the large amount of grass in the area or each other. Although there are few trees due to the areas weak connection to the world trees there are plenty of bushes and grasses.
