The Hobgoblin Unification

While the hobgoblins had helped with the war against the Holy Order of Druids, it was still a losing battle. In the northern part of the Savage Isles, this was viewed as retribution for the plague wars with only the hobgoblins being able to bridge the gap as they had originally come from the north.

With Mil'el being almost completely surrounded by forest and some forest even having crept inside the city many saw the situation as dire. Despite this, the races in the north did not want to help to move.   This eventually changed when the warlike hobgoblins decided to hold a meeting wherein they called all the races of the Savage Isles. In this meeting, they pleaded their cause and the cause of Mil'el and eventually an alliance was agreed upon.
