As the land was again developed, the wars decreased as resources became plentiful. This allowed for a period of peace where religion took a backseat as it became more useful to grow the communities by trading with others instead of trying to convert them.

It was only after the gods left that peace was once again returned to the Savage Isles. The new peace was not by decree or agreement of anyone. It came naturally as resources and trade became commonplace.   This was especially true for the catfolk, a species with a tendency to wander and easily gain the trust of others. They quickly spread from their towns in the southwest of the Savage Isles and set up the first trade routes on the Isles.
