The Gods Stop Intervening

After almost 50 years of trying to settle the conflicts, the gods had to stop their efforts. The 50 years had been trying for them and many factions, even among the gods, had emerged and fragmented the collective power of the gods.   This only got more urgent after the Prophecy of the Release of the Great Evil. The gods suddenly had a united goal once more and had no power to spare on a conflict they had been unable to diminish for 50 years.

After 43 years of trying to settle the conflicts among the short-lived mortals, even the gods themselves had started forming factions. The gods had quickly realised that telling their believers to be peaceful only led to their demise and a decrease in power for the god they believed in.   As such the gods began begrudging those gods who had either refused to pacify their followers or been slow to arrive on the Savage Isles and pacify their followers. As such the gods banded together and while they tried to pacify the Savage Isles, even they eventually got swept up in the conflicts.   This all ended when the Prophecy of the Release of the Great Evil was made and they once again had a unified goal, even if many of them tried to silence the prophecy when it was first made.
