Mod

Born from the bizarre...

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Since Mods were altered by Gamers they do not have a set appearance but they are often goofy, strange or overtly sexualized. Many are similar to the other Nipik races. The most common Mod is a variant of Reskin with strange patterns applied to them. Another common form Mod are relatively normal looking people besides having had their heads replaced with various things a Gamer found humorous like a chair or a potted plant. This can include animal heads but most Mod who have this alteration are happily mistaken for Animan. Another form of Mod are a variant of Flop whose breasts couldn't handle the amount of bouncy physics Gamers attempted to apply to them and need braces to keep them in check. The most infamous form of Mod are the altered dragons who most often look like Manimals if the animal stretched over was a dragon or absurd cartoon trains.

CULTURE

Having spent so much time around and being created by Gamers many Mod have taken on the attitudes and mannerisms of those who created them. Mod are rumored to be quite powerful since they were often altered by Gamers who cared little about making a creation balanced to the world they reside in. This perception was escalated when a collation of Mod who were altered from Mob dragons assaulted Horse Thief attempting to wrestle control of it away from Iron Face. The attack failed but it vividly illustrated the powerful potential of Nipik altered by Gamers instead of a Dev mishap. Mod are regarded with fear in most Nipik societies or even residentially outlawed like in Horse Thief because of this. This is why if they can pass as another race they will try appear like them instead of revealing themselves to be a Mod. There are differing opinions of Mod throughout the Oob ranging from some seeing them as vile acolytes of their Gamer abusers to being regarded as some of the Gamers' greatest victims. The Cult of Instructionism regard Mod as vile abominations since they did not have a place in the world given to them by the Dev. A militant group of Instructionists regularly lead hunts for Mod trying to chase or lure them into Realms without the Fainting Rule to kill them permanently.
