Instructionism

DESCRIPTION

Instructionism is a fanatical faith that believes that Nipik were expelled from the Gamer Realms for a sin committed against the Dev (what that sin is varies between sects and the political asperations of the person declaring it). They believe that being a Mob was a magical state of innocence now denied them for this sin and the punishment is for this sin is the self aware state of becoming Glitched. Unlike many of the other Nipik religions Intructionists believe there is only a single Dev and refer to this deity as simply "The Instructor". They attribute everything that happens to the will of this Dev and are certain of his just and benevolent nature though the often brutal nature of Oob life sometimes shakes the faith of even the most stalwart Intructionist. A central tenet to Instructionist doctrine is to try and live a life that resembles their life before they became Glitched as closely as possible with some glaring exemptions that are rigorously not mentioned (like being fodder for Gamers to kill). Instructionists will vigilantly stick to their pre glitch dialogue, if they have any, and will try their best to do the function the way had before as well even if that makes little to no sense for their current situation. Instructionists also have a strict dress code, especially for women. They believe if you are female you should have the most bare skin showing as possible taking the female clothing created by the Dev as evidence of this being the case. This is enforced on all female Instructionists despite age, race or perceived sexual appeal. Instructionists will often jeer and shame women they see wearing clothing that covers them fully.   NOTE: Look at Stoicism for my ideas regarding the concept of Instructionism
