Animan

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

The appearance of an Animan can vary depending on what kind of animal became Glitched and their bodies attached to human animations. If the animal was smaller this can result in them floating in midair and touching the ground and manipulating objects with unseen limbs. If the animal is as big or bigger than a human the resulting look is often simply anthropomorphic with some visual oddities due to the animal body not being built to accommodate the human skeleton. There are some rarer Nipik who have human bodies and just their head switched with an animal which are also included under the umbrella term of Animan though the specificity of their Glitch is different.

CULTURE

Animans occurred in an inverted manner to Manimals as they were animals who had their bodies accidentally attached to human skeletons and animations. Unlike Manimals though Animans were often regarded humorously by Gamers and were even protected by them to extend the longevity of the oddity. Many Animans made it to the Oob because they were protected from a premature demise by Gamers. This has lead to many Animans regarding Gamers with less ire and hatred as their other Nipik peers. The founder of Ludolism , a religion that regards Gamers as gods equal the Dev, was an Animan who interpreted this defense as divine. Animans are often adventurous and seek out occupations of exploration and discovery. Animans speak in a language that is a combination of animal sounds called Animal Talk.
