Wip

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Wip are Nipik who escaped the Gamer Realms not by glitch but by disuse. Since they are all somewhat uniquely formed the Wip have no set appearance beyond being very roughly put together and a distinct lack of design polish. Most of them are simple generic human shapes or even just blocks with writing on them. The term Wip is also used as a term for all Nipik who don't quite fit any of the broader Nipik race categories.

CULTURE

Wip were created by the Dev as placeholders for enemies or characters as the Dev constructed the Gamer Realms but once the realm was complete or the final design of the character they were holding a place for was finished the Wip were discarded. Once the Gamer Realm went live the Wip were sometimes able to make it out of wherever they were stored, assuming they were not deleted, and make a hazardous escape to the Oob. Most Wip are thoroughly odd even by Nipik standards since they found self awareness through lone introspection. Many Wip are deranged hermits having found the presence of other self aware creatures confusing and unwelcome.
