Acid Dragons, sometimes called Black Dragons, tend to be the most cruel and sadistic of Dragons, enjoying inflicting pain, suffering and misery. They also tend to be cowardly, avoiding taking fights they aren’t guaranteed to win.
They breathe and leak acid from between their scales, preferring to fight up close so attackers get doused in leaking acid, using their long necks to manoeuvre around their prey.
Appearance:
Acid Dragons can be recognised by their long necks and tails giving them a serpentine appearance. They are quadrupedal, with large wings rising from their backs and spines running down their back and adorning their tails. They are covered in leathery scales that leak acid, commonly black or dark brown in colour. They have large serpentine eyes.
Element:
Acid Dragons are associated with the element of acid which they can exhale as a deadly breath attack.
Lair:
Acid Dragons commonly make their lairs in swamps and marshes. They hoard wealth and luxury like most dragons but they also tend to enjoy collecting tokens of defeated foes, from ruined weapons and armour to body parts and corpses.
