West Spindles

The first question often asked about West Spindles is where the other Spindles district is; it is, however, unclear if there ever was another district in Port Kolin called Spindles. It is, however, quite clear how the district got its name; many of the buildings in this district still have narrow towers as the upper levels. When they were built, or the original buildings were repaired, there was obviously an attempt to emulate the original style of Port Kolin's oldest structures, but the skill of the stone masons was nowhere near good enough to construct such delicate towering structures. So, instead, the towers built within West Spindles are both less impressive than the original and significantly less practical, with many of them being too narrow for any functional rooms to fit inside their spindly forms.
Situated next to the Docks, West Spindles is home to many who work there, Longshores and traders alike, as well as many shops and small markets scattered throughout this district. You'll be very unlikely to find the truly exotic goods that make their way to the Grand Bizzare; however, you will find numerous places to purchase all manner of foodstuffs and general goods. It acts as the main general shopping area for those from Villas or The Gardens when they are just managing household needs rather than looking for the more exotic goods
